W ramach nowej strategii dla europejskiej turystyki komisarz Apostolos Dzidzikostas zapowiada walkę z nierównowagą - połowa całego ruchu turystycznego przypada teraz na zaledwie 13 procent regionów w Europie. Bruksela chce też promować regiony przygraniczne, uznawane za niebezpieczne.
