Professionele vissers hebben de afgelopen twee maanden ruim 9000 kilo volwassen paling veilig overgezet bij de waterkrachtcentrale in het dorp Maurik (Gelderland). Volgens de vissers is dat een record, schrijft Omroep Gelderland . De volwassen Europese paling wordt ook wel schieraal genoemd.
