A China continua a tentar levar a utilização da robótica mais além, agora também para conseguir garantir segurança na estrada. A Zhitong Daohe é uma equipa de polícia composta por drones, veículos autónomos e robôs, e está já em funcionamento em Wuzhen, na província de Zhejiang, onde vai decorrer a Conferência Mundial de Internet. O Tongtong, que até usa chapéu, é uma das figuras desta equipa. Trata-se de um polícia sinaleiro 100% robótico.
