ראש הסגל של ראש הממשלה בנימין נתניהו, עדו נורדן, הוא שהעביר למשטרה את המידע שהוביל לחקירת שלושה פעילי רע"ם בחשד לשוחד בחירות - כך פרסם הערב (חמישי) גיא פלג ב-N12. על פי הדיווח, נורדן שוחח עם בכירים במשטרה ומסר להם את הפרטים שהניעו את החקירה. לפי הפרסום, גורמים בכירים במערכת אכיפת החוק מעריכים כי התיק נגד שלושת החשודים קלוש וככל הנראה לא יוביל להגשת כתב אישום. החשודים, שמעצרם הוארך, מסרו את גרסתם בחקירה והסבירו את מקור הכסף. עם זאת, החקירה נמשכת והחשדות עדיין נבדקים.
