אירוע אלימות חמור התרחש בבית הספר ויתקין שבעמק חפר, כאשר תלמידה תקפה מורה וסגנית מנהלת במהלך ניסיון להפריד בינה לבין תלמידה נוספת שהיו מעורבות בעימות. בעקבות האירוע הודיעה הסתדרות המורים כי הלימודים בבית הספר יחלו היום (חמישי) בשעה 10:00, במחאה על האלימות כלפי צוות ההוראה.
