בית משפט השלום בבאר שבע הורה היום (שלישי) לשחרר ממעצר את חוסיין מסעודין, ש נעצר בשבוע שעבר בחשד למעורבות בשוחד בחירות לטובת מפלגת רע"ם. עם שחרורו, שישה מתוך שבעת החשודים שנעצרו בפרשה כבר אינם במעצר מאחורי סורג ובריח, אם כי חלקם עדיין נתונים במעצר בית . החשוד היחיד שנותר במעצר הוא איברהים אל-גרבי, שמעצרו הוארך עד מחר בעקבות ערר שהגישה המשטרה. מסעודין נמנה עם שלושת החשודים שנעצרו ביום הבחירות, ב-27 באוקטובר, במסגרת חקירה בחשד לניסיון להשפיע על הצבעת אזרחים לטובת רע"ם באמצעות מתן כספים או הטבות.…
