בית משפט השלום בחיפה האריך היום (ראשון) בשלושה ימים את מעצרו של תושב שכונת נווה יוסף, גלעד הילדסהיים בן ה-40 בעקבות תקיפת בעל דוכן הפלאפל ג'ורג' אבו שקארה לפנות בוקר בשכונת ואדי ניסנס. המשטרה מייחסת לו תקיפת זקן הגורמת חבלה חמורה. הוא טוען שהוא אינו יודע איך הוא קשור לאירוע ואין לו קשר אליו. "יש טעות בזיהוי", אמר עו"ד לאוניד פרחובניק המייצג אותו מטעם הסנגוריה הציבורית.
