אירוע בטיחות חמור התרחש היום (רביעי) בשעות הצהריים בבית הספר לחינוך מיוחד "עופר" בחיפה, כאשר גוף בטון כבד נפל מאתר בנייה סמוך של חברת "שתית", חדר לשטח בית הספר ופגע במתחם חדר האוכל. למרבה המזל, לא היו נפגעים מאחר ולא היו תלמידים במקום. הנהלת בית הספר עידכנה את הורי התלמידים באופן מיידי על האירוע.
