כ-120 אלף איש יצאו בשבת ביוזמת הקולקטיב GenZ regelt להפגין נגד יוקר המחיה, מצב בתי הספר והחזרת שירות החובה הצבאי, אך בלילה גלשה המחאה למהומות. כ-1,500 התפרעו בפרנקפורט, בזזו חנויות ותקפו שוטרים, שר הפנים קבע כי רבים מהם בני מהגרים: "אני מזועזע, אין טעם לייפות את המציאות". עשרות נעצרו ויותר מ-100 שוטרים נפצעו, בהם אחד קשה שנפגע מאבן בפניו. מהומות ועצורים גם בקלן, המבורג וברלין, מפגינים שוב הניפו דגלי פלסטין
