Для охорони порядку залучили 70 тисяч поліцейських і жандармів, однак уникнути сутичок не вдалося У Франції 31 жовтня в Парижі, Марселі та інших містах відбулися масові протести проти дорожнечі й погіршення державних послуг. Після мирних маршів спалахнули сутички з поліцією. До вечора правоохоронці затримали 565 людей.
