יו"ר מפלגת הדמוקרטים, יאיר גולן, יצא היום (רביעי) בהצהרה תקיפה בעקבות תוצאות הבחירות וקרא לראשי גוש השינוי להקים ממשלה שתסתמך על אזרחי ישראל הערבים ונציגיהם. "נתניהו הפסיד, אני יודע לספור עד 120 - 65 זה יותר מ-55 וככה עובדת הדמוקרטיה," הבהיר גולן. בדבריו יצא בחריפות נגד הניסיונות לפסול את ההצבעה בחברה הערבית: "אסור לנו לקבל יותר את החלוקה הגזענית בין קולות יהודיים לקולות ערביים. הקול של אזרח ישראלי שמצביע בטירה שווה בדיוק כמו הקול של אזרח שמצביע בגבעת שמואל. מי שמנסה למחוק את הקולות של האזרחים…
