רוסיה הודיעה כי סיכלה מזימה אוקראינית להעביר כמה משלוחים של משקפיים ממולכדים עבור מפעילי רחפנים רוסים בחזית במסווה של סיוע פטריוטי לחיילים. במסגרת המבצע התחזו סוכנים אוקראינים לתומכי צבא רוסיה ויצרו קשר עם ארגוני סיוע מקומיים. לא ידוע אם חיילים רוסים נפגעו כתוצאה מהמבצע
