אלכסנדר ווצ'יץ' הובס בבחירות אחרי 12 שנה, ונציגי "מחאת הסטודנטים" שסומנו ע"י שופרותיו כבוגדים ואויבי המדינה פונים לסגור חשבונות. מנהלת רשות השידור הממלכתית RTS, שהפסיקה לדווח אחרי הודעת ההפסד של ווצ'יץ' ו"העלימה" את חגיגות האלפים בבלגרד, הודיעה על פרישה, עשרות פרצו למשרדי הערוץ Informer המזוהה איתו: "סרביה חופשית, איפה ווצ'יץ' עכשיו?". ערוץ אחר פתח את שידוריו בהתנצלות על שנים של הטיה לטובת מפלגת השלטון: "כשלנו, שתקנו, עצמנו עין"
