Een partner of ouder die overlijdt is al tragisch genoeg, maar als je als nabestaande pas daarna ontdekt geen recht te hebben op het pensioen levert dat "schrijnende situaties" op. Toezichthouder Autoriteit Financiële Markten (AFM) wil daarom dat pensioenuitvoerders deelnemers actiever informeren over het nabestaandenpensioen.
