El fallo del sistema de seguridad LZB, que precedió al choque entre un AVE y un Iryo este miércoles en Urda (Toledo), ha puesto el foco en este mecanismo de protección ferroviaria utilizado en líneas de alta velocidad. Según el Ministerio de Transportes y Movilidad Sostenible, tras la avería, el centro de control de Adif en Atocha autorizó a los trenes a reanudar la circulación con normalidad, pese a que la normativa limitaba la velocidad a 40 kilómetros por hora (km/h).
