Met 85 procent van de stemmen geteld gaat het pro-Netanyahu-blok met 53 zetels aan kop bij de Israëlische parlementsverkiezingen. Het blok rond oppositieleider Gadi Eisenkot staat op dit moment op 48 zetels. Het aantal zetels voor de Arabische partijen staat op 19, een historisch record. De Likud-partij van Netanyahu verliest met deze uitslag zes zetels en gaat van 32 naar 26. De pas een jaar geleden opgerichte partij van Eisenkot, Yashar, zou uitkomen op 21 zetels.
