De overheid was de afgelopen tien jaar onbetrouwbaar voor boeren. Dat stelt de Nationale ombudsman, onder meer op basis van gesprekken met 32 boeren. Wisselende regels, tegenstrijdig beleid en onduidelijke besluiten veroorzaakten onzekerheid. Dat raakte volgens ombudsman Reinier van Zutphen niet alleen de bedrijven van de boeren, maar ook hun gezinnen.
