Als het aan het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) ligt, moet de agent die in augustus 2024 zijn wapenstok gebruikte tegen feestvierders een taakstraf van 100 uur krijgen. Volgens het OM was dat geweld niet nodig. De agent kwam samen met een collega en twee boa's op 23 augustus 2024 naar het terrein van de Perenhoeve in Ruinerwold. Daar vierden de eigenaren, Nico en Ginette Westenbrink, op dat moment een feest ter ere van hun 40-jarig huwelijk Het viertal kwam controleren of het feest werd gehouden…
