The mother of the 28-year-old runner found stabbed in the neck on a bike path in Brooklyn just two days before the NYC Marathon she was training for says her daughter has died. Yasira Suarez confirmed her daughter, Katie Suarez, passed Monday night. The attack happened as she ran along Shore Parkway in Bath Beach on Friday night. Authorities believe it was random.
