De rijksoverheid moet het ook kunnen met zo'n 25.000 ambtenaren minder. Dat staat in de plannen van staatssecretaris Van der Burg voor Slagvaardige Overheid. In 2035 moet zo'n 16 procent van de ongeveer 160.000 (voltijds)ambtenaren zijn wegbezuinigd. Dat dit kabinet inzet op verkleinen van het ambtenarenapparaat was al bekend. Maar Van der Burg maakt nu voor het eerst een schatting van het aantal banen dat dat kost. Hij zegt nog niets over welke departementen hoeveel banen moeten schrappen. Wel…
