De prijzen zijn in oktober meer gestegen dan in de maand ervoor. De inflatie bedroeg 3,7 procent, in september was dat 3,4 procent. Dat staat in de voorlopige raming van het CBS. Het inflatiecijfer betekent dat de prijzen in oktober 3,7 procent hoger waren dan in dezelfde maand een jaar eerder. Het definitieve cijfer komt 10 november, dan kan het nog worden bijgesteld.
