De zes honden die onlangs zijn doodgegaan nadat ze waren uitgelaten in Schiedam, zijn hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet gestorven na het eten van giftige paddenstoelen. Ook was de grond niet vervuild, blijkt volgens de gemeente uit de eerste resultaten van het bodemonderzoek. Er wordt nog onderzocht of er bloembollen aanwezig waren, die mogelijk iets te maken hebben met de dode dieren. De gemeente Schiedam weet niet wanneer daar meer duidelijkheid over komt.
