Een titelloos schilderij van de in 2001 overleden zanger en kunstenaar Herman Brood is opgenomen in de kunstcollectie van het Rijk. De conservatoren van de Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed (RCE) zeggen tot dit besluit te zijn gekomen omdat "wij vinden dat Herman Brood als icoon uit de twintigste eeuw als kunstenaar meer aanzien mag krijgen".
