Dzisiaj jest taka sytuacja prawna, że w warunkach pokoju jednostki wojskowe nie mogą działać na terenie kraju i być dowodzone przez dowódców wojskowych, którzy znają specyfikę ich działania, musi nimi dowodzić policjant albo dowódca ze Straży Granicznej, podlegający pod MSWiA, który nie ma pojęcia o tym, jaką taktykę wykorzystują, jakie zdolności mają i w jaką broń i wyposażenie są uzbrojeni – powiedział w rozmowie z zero.pl gen. Roman Polko, były dowódca jednostki GROM.
