Le gouverneur républicain de l’Alaska, Mike Dunleavy, a fait savoir qu’il allait diligenter une enquête pour déterminer si la campagne de Mary Peltola devait faire l’objet de poursuites pénales ou de sanctions civiles, rapporte le « New York Times ». La candidate démocrate pour le Sénat est accusée d’avoir recruté un homonyme du sénateur sortant dans le but d’éparpiller des voix lui étant potentiellement destinées.
