Op de Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam is een portrettengalerij van hoogleraren sinds kort uitgebreid met portretten van vrouwelijke hoogleraren. Volgens Renske Keizer, zelf ook hoogleraar, zijn vrouwelijke rolmodellen nog steeds hard nodig. "Het is niet alleen een beroep voor mannen." In het hoofdgebouw van de universiteit hangt aan de wanden naast de trappen een collectie met portretten van voornamelijk mannelijke hoogleraren.
