De Franse douane heeft duizenden verpakkingen met THC-snoepjes onderschept die voor de Nederlandse markt waren bedoeld. THC is de belangrijkste werkzame stof in marihuana. Volgens de Europese antifraudedienst OLAF leken de snoepjes en de verpakking sprekend op producten van een bekend Europees merk. Hiermee werden de merkrechten geschonden, maar OLAF waarschuwt ook dat kinderen de THC-snoepjes hierdoor gemakkelijk konden verwarren met gewoon snoepgoed. En dat kan gevaarlijk zijn.
