De ebola-uitbraak in Congo heeft inmiddels aan 5000 mensen het leven gekost, melden gezondheidsdiensten in het land. Eerder deze week werd al gemeld dat de ziekte bij ruim 10.000 mensen officieel is vastgesteld. De uitbraak, die in mei voor het eerst werd opgemerkt, is de op een na dodelijkste uitbraak van het virus ooit.
