El Senado de Paraguay comenzó este viernes el juicio político contra el presidente Santiago Peña , involucrado en un escándalo bancario de Ueno Bank que dejó a tres millones de clientes sin acceso a sus depósitos. El proceso se activó tras el rechazo de una prórroga de 72 horas solicitada por Peña. El presidente no comparece ante el Senado y es representado por sus abogados defensores.
