W Polsce co trzeci zatrudniony boi się dziś utraty pracy w perspektywie dwóch lat, przy czym w pierwszej połowie tego roku, w ramach zwolnień grupowych pracę straciło 11,6 tys. osób. W obliczu tych zmian coraz częściej mówi się o zjawisku career grief. Dotyczy ono osób, które zostały zwolnione lub same zdecydowały o odejściu i w związku z tym odczuwają silne poczucie straty.
