Toronto.- El gobierno de Canadá presentó un proyecto de ley que excluirá de forma indefinida el acceso a la asistencia médica para morir ( MAID , por sus siglas en inglés) cuando la única condición médica del paciente sea una enfermedad mental . El proyecto de ley, presentado en la Cámara de los Comunes, modificaría el Código Penal para establecer expresamente que una persona no puede recibir MAID únicamente por padecer una enfermedad mental.
