ערב הבחירות לכנסת ה-26, מפרסמות היום (שני) משפחות "מועצת אוקטובר" קריאה פומבית לאזרחי ישראל לזכור בקלפי את אירועי 7 באוקטובר ואת המשפחות שנפגעו. על הפנייה חתמו מאות שורדי שבי, בני משפחות חטופים, משפחות שכולות ושורדי הטבח - המבקשים להציב את הדרישה להקמת ועדת חקירה ממלכתית במרכז סדר היום הציבורי גם ביום הבחירות.
